About RDT

Rapid Dose Therapeutics, RDT, is a Canadian bio-technology company which provides disruptive proprietary drug delivery technologies designed to improve patient outcomes.

Formed because of a recognized need to move drug delivery to a new level. RDT provides product innovation, production, and consultation to the pharmaceutical and healthcare manufacturing industry.

Mark Upsdell

CEO

Mark leads RDT – Rapid Dose Therapeutics, with a unique combination of global business and technology transformational growth experience. Mark’s ability to build high-performance growth oriented teams, including his strategically-selected executive management staff, has served as a growth catalyst to drive revenue results. Mark believes in innovation, strategy and people.

Prior to RDT, Mark was Senior Global Manager of Strategy and Planning at Cisco, and held director positions within Cisco and Hewlett Packard.

Jason Lewis
SVP Business Development, Director

Jason is an entrepreneurial executive with 28+ years of hands-on expertise in growing successful businesses within the healthcare marketing, sales productivity, and software development sectors. His experience is focused in pharmaceutical product launches, marketing, and consultation. Jason builds and manages high performance sales, marketing, and channel teams, develops creative business go-to-market strategies in high growth, mid and late stage venture backed and publicly traded companies.

A results-driven marketing leader, known for innovation and a unique mix of strategic, creative, operational and technical abilities — Jason’s dedication to ensuring success for brands is unwavering.

Previous to RDT, Jason was founder of PharmaComm and RemoteRep® in Ontario, Canada, Director of International Marketing Apotex, and VP of Marketforce a subsidiary of GSW.

Lino Fera, CPA

CFO

Lino is a seasoned Chartered Professional Accountant and financial executive with over twenty-five years experience in senior corporate management roles. His extensive experience in the financial industry has afforded a unique and diverse set of career opportunities that have spanned a range of business sectors that equips him to serve RDT from a strategic financial perspective.

Prior to RDT, Lino was the CFO for Starshot Ventures Inc. in Toronto. During his tenure this creative event marketing agency grew from a few employees to double digit figures with offices in Toronto and Chicago, covering the Canadian and USA marketplace.

In the non-profit space, Lino is the co-Founder of Cribwolf-Foundation, an organization focused on the construction of assisted living housing models for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. Lino is also a business coach and keynote speaker for private organizations, associations and corporations — and the author of ‘Business Utopia – Fact or Vision’

 

Doug Hyland, CA, CPA

Manager, Systems & Processes

Doug is a highly respected corporate strategist and chartered accountant, focusing on assisting owners of privately held businesses with their business transition process. Doug’s expertise in the areas of taxation, finance and management provide corporations assists company management with transformative strategies intended to build business value. Doug has a wealth of experience in Canada and the United States and he has acted on international assignments for both Canadian and US clients seeking to expand their business investments within their industry.

His diverse strategic financial and business experience spans across multiple industries including manufacturing and distribution, financial services, technology, non-profit, and the health industry. Doug is a renowned thought leader, keynote speaker and recognized contributor of articles outlining the unique challenges of business transition and business wealth transfer techniques both while operating the business and upon exit.

In addition to RDT, Doug is currently acting as Director and Treasurer for OTEC (Ontario Tourism and Hospitality Industry). Prior to RDT, Doug was Director and VP Finance for the Mississauga Board of Trade, Elizabeth Fry Society. Doug is also the founding partner of Lemoine Hyland Chartered Accountants LLP, located in Mississauga, Ontario.

 

Kristina Shea, PMP

Marketing & Communications Director

Kristina is a passionate, senior multi-disciplinary marketing executive with a proven track record for driving results in business growth and brand equity throughout diverse business sectors. Kristina has extensive experience in branding, strategy, digital communications, design, social media and project management. She has a unique integrated marketing perspective from having worked in both the agency and corporate sides of business.

Prior to RDT, Kristina has worked with RBC, UBS Wealth Management, Xerox, Ontario Lung Association and insurance companies.

Kristina is a marketing driven professional with a reputation for results, creativity and relationship building.

 

Brad Little, P.Eng

Intellectual Property Specialist

Brad is a professional engineer and a seasoned intellectual property professional with over 30 years of experience working with start-ups, entrepreneurs and inventors within various industries. Brad’s engineering, technical and business expertise allows him to work on innovation and patents synergistically accelerating time-to-market.

Brad himself is a hands-on inventor of multiple inventions in diverse markets — and through this experience has through understanding of the product development process. Brad is a valuable team member of RDT integrating technical knowledge and process to elevate the quality of inventions and stronger patents.
